The future ?
The Borough has featured in the forum on 'nonleaguematters' .
I've chipped in with this, with which no doubt some people will not agree :
Harrow Borough could try and get a groundshare at Hillingdon Borough's ground at the 'Middlesex Stadium in Ruislip. It could benefit both clubs financially and is not too far from Harrow's current ground, although transport would probably be required for many currently going to grand old Earlsmead.
Alternatively, the future demand for Rayners Lane's ground could be uncertain, subject to the prospects for the current two clubs playing there.
In the further distanced future, Wealdstone may get their new stadium at Hillingdon and Grosvenor Vale could become available, which would be near perfect.
No doubt local demographics are an important factor in the modest gates at Harrow Borough, but the shortage of people able or willing to get involved in volunteering means that the many ideas to improve the fortunes for the Borough (and other clubs too) don't get developed as they could be.
Maybe finding and attracting some young Indian/Pakistani heritage youths, with the required skill levels to be selected to play, would generate some local interest.
If, in the end, the current generation of generous supporters and sponsors pass on and then there is insufficient interest in semi-pro non-league football to make it viable in the Harrow area, does it really matter ?
It will have served its purpose to those who cared.

Some of the posts on .Non League Matters Forum are complete nonsense.
As we will remain at Earlsmead for an indefinite period of time, there is nothing to report .
Whilst its nice that people who do not follow the team are concerned, compared with the likes of Kingstonian, Southall & others who groundshare now, we still have our ground & untill a viable & acceptable development is started we will remain at it. ( which could be quite some time)

We've gone from Roxonian FC to Harrow Town FC to Harrow Borough FC, I'd like to think it's in our nature to (very gradually) evolve.
It was after the club almost went into liquidation in the 60's so perhaps we'll have another Houdini style escape from the jaws of oblivion. Different circumstances I admit, but the Boro are full of surprises so who knows what the future holds?
We started in the 30's and with the Ground rebuilt in the 70's, non-league football has also changed a lot, but having followed Boro since the 90's I wouldn't say our attendances are massively different either way (I might be wrong though). Football abhores a geographic void and if we're no longer representing Harrow another club will come along in one form or another. It would just be a terrible shame to lose all that history.
