I dont think the conference will rely on hearsay, they will want proven facts.

spot on.
They will know if players were not paid
They will know all details about winding up order(s).
They will know real reason behind boston postponement.
They will know budget for next season, and whether feasible.
They will know if take over of ground is legally binding, and any promises from that will be fulfilled.
They will know what unpaid debts there are and not a concern.
They will know if the ground has a safety certificate.

Knowing all this (and a host of other things) they will make a judgement.

I thought comments on here (and calls) made will hurt the cause?

quotes attributed to GS - clearly indicating there are questions about boro remaining in the league

Smurthwaite says he was approached by Nuneaton’s owner to buy their Liberty Way stadium to help the club out of financial problems so they can stay in the National League North.

He hopes the deal will be approved by the EFL this week in time for Nuneaton to be accepted for next season at the National League North’s own annual meeting on Friday.

Not aware of any other clubs who have so many uncertainties.
