The £100,000 figure is WOW on two levels.
Amazing a lower than expected attendance figure resulted in a loss of £100,000 (£15/game equates to 300+ missing on the gate).
Amazing that £100,000+ has been recouped by other business activities.

To say "live within budget" is an open statement.
If the playing budget today is the same as August then thats not cutting budget. If its been adjusted to reflect actualities then it has been cut.
Has it been cut? who knows (well some do). Departures indicate it has, but had it been exceeded with the signing of the likes of Breedon & Hood?

My view, is the club have decided to consolidate this season, and start afresh next season.
