I went to Hampden in 1989(?) to see Rous Cup Scotland v England...my mate was working up there and got tickets.
He didn’t tell me they were in the Scottish end...diagonally opposite the 2000 England fans.
The 15 minutes at half time were the longest of my life...we dare not speak.
We left a few minutes early to “escape” and missed Steve Bull’s goal in a 2-0 win
