Thing with football stadiums (pre-Bradford) is that the owners did not give a damn.

Bradford was in 1985. I really suspect if it was not for that Boro ground would not have been (in effect) closed.

H&S did not exists till the 90s?
Remember leaving Manor Park after the Oxford game and the gates at the bottom of the Cock and Bear opened inwards ----- so the crowd was pushed back without much thought for those pushing to get out,

In summary. With MP I think it important to remember pre-Stadiasafe and what they had to do.
The events that Bradford and Hillsborough had a (correctly) massive impact on grounds.

Quick look at the 1st Alliance season - There are probably only 5 at 6 at original ground (Altrincham, Stafford, Redditch, Barrow, Bath & Bangor)
