So construction financing then.
What are your cad skills like?
Are you capable with Revit architecture or other Bim platforms such as Archicad?
Do you have a total understanding of construction technology including the use and specification of the latest sustainable materials and technologies?
Do you have a knowledge of historic and traditional construction technology including vernacular construction.
Can you erect steel work?
Can you lay bricks to a high standard or cut a pitched roof?
Could you draw, set out and construct a Florentine arch in brickwork with a herringbone tympanum?
Could you tell me who invented Portland cement and in what year?
Could you tell me where the worlds first iron framed building was constructed?

No seriously Iā€™m just having a laugh and fully respect what your skill set includes.
I do think some should give you a bit of a break because any new ground would would need your kind of input.

As for the questions above I can answer yes to all but when it comes to costing building work Iā€™d leave that to the professional. Even costing extensions drives me up the wall lol.
