You're most probably right.
The elected supporters on the board will certainly listen to the supporters that put them there.
Then theyll put any opinions to the rest of the board that will probably consist of a group of sponsors, local institutions and sporting bodies and we'll be back to the same wrapper as before.

They'll listen.. briefly.
