"It's been said".
C'mon Jebbs, do you really think JG would do anything he was told to do re Boro if he didn't agree?
No.
JG had the final say on everything, he was after all, the owner.
An advisory board has no power, none at all. It even says it in the name. Advisory.

The praise when things go well goes to JG, the buck, when it stops, stops with him too.
There has been a bid to muddy SE's reputation of late.
The compulsive liar who tried to start a new club in Leicestershire and claim it was a continuation of Boro was one of the people behind it.
He tried to blame SE for stopping funding for the kids teams, when all he did was buy a sponsorship package advertised by Boro.
There are other people with a vested interest in blaming anyone but JG, but JG was the owner the main shareholder, he did everything. He told us that often enough.

How bright should floodlights be in the Conference?
