Retrospectively

Still buzzing over yesterday's game. It has been many years of following the Boro' since that has happened on consecutive Sundays. I have now raised my fists in jubilation ( as opposed to anger) eleven times in a football ground in a fortnight. Another pb.

One dares to hope, but in my case, if this really is a turning point, it's going to be a long hard climb back to anywhere significant . By which time I'll be drooling in a Home somewhere, stoking the fires for Old Harry Down Below or unable to remember as far back as a fortnight.

If our games were covered in the NLP I might even consider a first purchase. Haven't bought one for well over six years. Does it still exist?

Final positive: those unable to attend or unwilling to forgive (yet) can see all of these goals afterwards nowadays due to the excellent camera work of the new regime. Nothing to hide budget wise or on film. As Doris Day once sang "It's no secret any more).
