💙 NOT JUST FOR STATTOS - COMMUNITY WORK AS WELL;💙

From Town To Town were delighted to welcome Boro legends Brendan Phillips, Bobby Vincent, Kirk Stephens and Dave Crowley to yesterday's game at The Oval.

We took the opportunity to present Brendan with his England Non-League Cap ⚽️ from 1980 that had previously been on display at Manor Park.

This is an aspect of our heritage project that tends to go unnoticed.

Our project is not merely about the cold hard statistics of previous results, we take great pleasure in the community element of it as well.

Over the years we have invited former players to numerous events and reunited them with long lost friends as well as with personal items.

When we received Brendan's England Cap our immediate thoughts were that this should be with him and his family and it was our absolute pleasure to present him with it yesterday.

We would also like to thank the Nuneaton Town Football Club board of directors for the warm hospitality shown to Brendan and his guests.
