They won’t move from the site because they are land rich. 50 acres.

They ought to decide to play on the stadium because the takings are so much higher but who knows with agendas and internal politics.

They aren’t in financial difficulties. There’s been one rugby club in Nuneaton since 1879. I think there have been at least seven football clubs in that time which says it all! Eight if you include Griff!

There was a real chance for both clubs to have shared Liberty Way and work together constructively but Ian Neale thought he knew better! That’s gone now!

Hopefully our new Board can make progress securing a site in a more logical venue for football in Nuneaton which we can develop to suit our needs.
