Yes they may sell the clubhouse and nearby land including driveway and car parks. Theres no point a rugby club not having a clubhouse next to the main pitch. Its the biggest problem for the Nuns currently and they have had huge decline in crowds, coverage and interest etc. Developing other land may lead to 5G pitch and new clubhouse and facilities etc. So it’s logical as you say.

But that would all take some time to get permissions and agreements so they’d be much better off and would have much more prestige and respect if they used the stadium for 10 years. They were traditionally one of the top clubs in the country.

But never underestimate the ability for cock ups in Nuneaton sport!
