Fair comment. I didn’t dare say it before we achieved it but I think it would have been a huge setback if we hadn’t gone up this season.

I think it’s important to remember at all times that this time last year we were worried we wouldn’t have a Club to support. There was the shambles of the H&H bid, no ground and false hopes about Gala Fields.

People were sat in a room scratching their heads about coming up with solutions to save a good standard of football for Nuneaton.

Given those challenges and starting the playing side from scratch with appointment of managerial team and finding players. It’s been a fantastic achievement.

I love memories of Manor Park. The antics of Neale and Thorn and their disregard for the town of Nuneaton disillusioned me for a long time. But this is a fresh start and whilst it’s ok to remember Boro of old we don’t want the Neale reputational legacy or the debts Boro leisure still holds or it’s angry creditors who are rightly concerned about what they are owed.

Onwards!
