he petition to wind up eventually had a court date set for 7 May 2025, however was originally presented in March 2022. So it's not just crept up on them, the club had plenty of time to make the league aware. Plus the NPL claims to scrutinise club finances regularly, so unsure how this got past them, or if they were given false information by the club owner.

The last three clubs the owner has been involved with: Atherstone United, dead, Hinckley United dead ,and now LRFC having last rites. Creditors and Players go unpaid, yet somehow the owner still finds himself in possession of a million pound stadium and receiving income form his affiliated Junior sections?

I decided to have a look at the Companies House records for the owner, and there are a string of liquidated and dormant companies on there, which given his record with these clubs should have been enough to alert the NPL, surely?

This is not someone to get involved with in fact i'd go as far as to say if we did that would be me done ST or not . Apparently the players are on social media saying they haven't been paid since Christmas .
