Warwickshire County Council Highways will be key Consultants in the Planning process.

NTFC CIC need to focus 100% attention on their initial advice, to avoid wasting too much time & money on sites that will not pass WCC Highways scrutiny.

The new Club also need to be acutely aware of WCC Highways demands for potential highways improvements, arising out of the new Stadium development, which will be administered under a Section 278 Highways Works Agreement.

These works will be paid for by the Developer.

The intended final capacity of the new Stadium will influence the final outcome.

A Transportation Assessment will be required to be submitted as part of the Planning Application. This will require a Local Traffic Study.

Also, a good, well thought out Travel Plan.

These documents will need to be produced by a Transportation Consultant & paid for by the Developer.

National Highways will be consulted in the Planning process. They will be looking to assess the impact the new Stadium has on the A444/M6 Junction 3 & the A5 Corridor.

IMO, looking at multiple sites is a non-starter.

Gala Field will IMO, hold up to NBBC & WCC Highways planning scrutiny.

Just my thoughts!
