I have just checked Bedworth United's Facebook page & it definitely says FIFA 4G pitch.

I have then checked out S & C Slatter's website & they confirm that 4G pitch technology has not been approved by FIFA, it doesn't have the necessary accreditation.

They also warn Clubs about Contractors claiming to be able to install FIFA approved 4G pitches.

Edit:

S & C Slatter also refer to the FA's 3G Pitch Register, which lists the Clubs who have installed FIFA Quality Performance (standard) 3G pitches & FIFA Quality Pro Performance 3G pitches.

Also, Bedworth United show on their Facebook page sand infill being applied to the pitch.

4G pitches do not have sand infill.

It must be a 3G pitch, which does use sand infill.

Edit:

Mystery solved!

SIS Pitches have installed a new 3G pitch at The Oval.

They constructed the original pitch.

The article I have just read says the new pitch will meet the FA's requirements.
