I agree about the gate, but not the Ref. Don't see that he did much wrong. One or two decisions that I felt went the wrong way in their favor, but I'm sure their supporter(s)? thought the same the other way round. There was a lot of pressure from their manager and coach with constant shouting and holding their heads in their hands after every decision. Their players went down too easily and often wanted the game stopped for head injuries, which is difficult for a referee in these times. I thought he did well when he ignored their player laying on the floor as if poleaxed and in agony to let the game carry on for Boro to score their first goal. Quite a few refs would have stopped the game.
