I was not demeaning Chenecks btw, just pointing out that irregular followers (and not Season Ticket holders) might have glanced at that match and decided to watch some tv game instead . Some folks would probably give it a miss even if we were playing Northampton Town.

I guess in future histories though, some of us will look back fondly over this era and visits to Oadby and Aylestone.

Having missed Grantham through ill health, I drove three hours along the M4 and M40 yesterday to get there by kick off last night. ( Not the furthest journey either, talking to Mr. Clough earlier). Part of my journey took me through Marlow. Oh The memories.
