No, he would'nt have gone then. He has a massive ego and I believe he thinks clubs like Boro', Atherstone and Barwell were lucky to have him as manager. At rhe start of last season he said that Barwell would be pushing for promotion, instead they ended up in the relegation zone, only being saved by another club leaving the league. With the support of his sponsors ;Crown being the main one, he certainly had the resourses to maintain Barwell's place in their league. They may yet survive, but if so it will be because he has gone.
