JG / Fickle Fans

I never wanted JG anywhere near the club BUT I reluctantly did feel he was the right man at the wrong time due to the mess the club was in.

I admit, whilst he football was bad it was no where near as bad as I expected.

When he becomes owner, I always felt the club were just treading water until it drowned.

At least he made Boro a family club.......it just happened to be his family as perfectly demonstrated with the game at the CBS Arena.

I have to add this.
Messers Stocker, Brown/Neale, Hawkins, Ginnelly & Smurfewaite were all treated as heroes by many/most only to become demons. I don't think Thorn was ever in that hero class.

I wonder what those who massive backed H&H over the current regime (often viciously) no think.

Back to JG era.....how many lies were we told by him and those around him? Debt nearly paid off; lease sorted. Club running in the black.
