I’ll try again.

He may have hoped joining Nuneaton would be a stepping stone to much high levels eg conference. The contract he signed would indicate both eh and the club thought this might be possible.

However despite having scored many goals last season it’s now apparent there isn’t interest above step 4.

Now all the travel and commitment doesn’t appear worth it if this is going to be his ceiling.

So he’s happier to play more locally with friends at a slightly lower level.

Do you understand now?
