Tamworth's new American owner, IMO, would have a far better chance of success with the local Planners, if he proposed to sell the Lamb as development land (with an Outline Planning Permission for a change of use) & build the football club a new Stadium on the outskirts of town, if a new site was available.

He could use the funds available from the sale of the Lamb to fund/part-fund the new Stadium.

That would be more straightforward than trying to re-develop the Lamb as an EFL Stadium, which again IMO, would have Planning challenges.

Just my thoughts!
