I would say that new housing could be a good option for that site.

The price that houebuilders pay for land is based on 'net developable area', not 'gross area'.

I don't know how many acres/hectares are available at the Lamb but it would not be unreasonable to consider that two-thirds of the area would be 'net developable'.

Having been to the Lamb a number of times, £1.5 million sounds realistic, based on gaining a satisfactory Planning Permission.

With Tamworth & Lichfield combining as a Unitary Authority, the possibility of building a new Stadium on the Western side of town could be investigated.
