The Raywoods in Nuneaton was primarily built over a former industrial landscape. The housing was constructed on land that previously housed the Stanley Brothers No. 4 clay pit and its associated brickworks, which were connected by a tramway.The area, located off Heath End Road between Greenmore Road and the present-day Jubilee Centre, was transformed from these former clay pits and brick kilns into mid-20th-century housing.

Living in Greenmoor Road I used to love the cloddies and the big pool (they didnt build over that, but very near).
