Gala Field previously had an 8-lane(?) Athletics track with a perimeter fence & a football pitch in the centre.

There was plenty of room on the grassed area outside of the perimeter fence.

I am sure LH posted on here sometime ago that he had overlaid the plans for Liberty Way on the Gala Field site & it fit?

Not that LW should be influential when designing a new Stadium layout for Gala Field.

It would make sense to limit the width of construction alongside the Wem Brook.

A new Stadium can just be built on 3 sides, that is effectively what Maidstone United have done, due to their new site being constrained by the River.

Leases can be re-negotiated if it is beneficial to all parties.

Due recognition should also be given to NBBC's Playing Pitches Strategy, which is their live working document, they are setting the policy.

Just my thoughts!
