I have locked this thread, and deleted some (admit innocent) posts.

I believe the post was referring to this statement issued by the police.

Police Statement.

A Bolton man has been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm following an assault in Nuneaton on Saturday.

In the early hours of Saturday morning a man was reportedly punched to the head, causing him to fall to the ground unconcious outside a club on Church Street.

He remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Samuel Stretton, 32, was subsequently arrested and has today, August 3, been charged.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Magistrates in Coventry on 8 August.

Please note: The person named in this post has been charged with an offence and will be appearing in court. To avoid jeopardising any upcoming legal proceedings, comments have been turned off on this post.
