NTFC doesn't have any alternative at the moment, the Board to some extent are in a straightjacket financially & they will have a very difficult time ahead with NBBC, if the Council's response so far is anything to go by!

On the playing side, they are between a rock & a hard place, the supporters are being carried along on a groundswell of success so far & a playoff place this season looks achievable at this time, so expectations are high.

Promotion, however, will provide much greater challenges both on & off the field.

Does the Oval currently meet the FA's ground-grading requirements for Level 7/Step 3?...that is the first question.

I'm not sure how far away from their financial ceiling they are at present, given their present constitution?

Also, if they become involved in a Planning Application, £100k will not be enough money, they should be looking to raise that figure to £250,000 over the next 3 years.

If they run out of funds, it will only delay progress on their ambition to return to Nuneaton.

Just my thoughts!
