Totally agree. What they have done over the last two years is incredible to be honest. To take on a role at a club with no players, no ground, and most crucially, where the business model gave them a restrictive budget, can only be applauded.
No one, from what I have seen, read, or heard, has anything but the greatest respect for them both. They ,of course, will eventualy leave the club, as it only us fans that stick around for the long haul.
There are issues at the moment regarding recruitment which many of the fans, myself included, have grave misgivings.
The latest signing comes across as a kneejerk reaction to fans calling for a forward who can actually put the ball in the net. His track record is hardly inspiring to say the least.
I am always willing to give new players a chance , as most need time to ajust to our style of play, as well as gelling with their new team mates. In this case, however, I believe that Murphy, was not given such a chance, and his track record was far better.
