"Against our ethos"

My company budgets additional hired haulage to compliment our own fleet.
The budget is a conservative estimate of what we need to be financially secure.
We will happily overspend on additional haulage when sales volumes require it.
If we chose not to we would upset our customers, lose additional sales and thwart potential growth.

Investment when the time is tight cannot realistically be budgeted. Failing to read the market is the downfall of many businesses.

Tomorrow I will be posting my views on the effective use of tax income.
