Had a convo with someone who said the Club had registered over 350 kids.
To me, that's a lot of children and for whatever reason their parents (and the kid possibly) have chosen Nuneaton Borough as the Club they want their kid playing footy at.
They may like the idea of being "involved" in the Club of the town that they live in, possibly see it as a bigger set up and more professional/fun having a tournament at LW than the side of the cricket pitch at Attleborough Sports Club or Stockingford Rec.
As a kid I wouldn't dream of playing football for a Hartsill , Stockingford or God forbid Camp Hill team, the kids in my estate would have lynched me and I'm pretty sure the reception wouldn't have been warm at any of those places too...
The Club offers the whole Nuneaton Community a place/base for kids to play a sport. it looks like it's going well, the numbers suggest it is, not sure why those families of 350 kids chose the Boro but it seems like there's more on offer than the likes of Hartsill etc.
