At the open discussion I was party to, they made it very clear that for any ground share to be even considered they needed to make an offer that Hinckley Leicester Road could not refuse and based on the lack of progress with an agreement, clearly that has not happened!
I must admit that whilst clearly Leicester Road Stadium is probably the best non league stadium within the Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire region, I sincerely hope that the new Nuneaton team finds a base in Nuneaton and re-establishes the club as a major force in non league football again.
Just imagine how many Nuneaton supporters would go to Wembley if the new team were to get to the final of the FA Vase?
