As a result of months of almost constant rain in the south west, combined with the lack of a home ground, Truro City still have 8 games to play in National South before the regular season ends in just 2 weeks’ time. 7 are ‘home’ fixtures, being played on grounds as far away from Cornwall as Gloucester between tonight and Thursday week. Their players are going to be knackered by the time they crawl onto the team coach to make the 5+ hour journey to Dartford on the 20th! Any Truro fans who make it to all those games deserve a medal.
