I spotted that. Perhaps nerves as she a newbie. I was/am unaware of any ground issues faced by the Griff.

Nice to hear the local MP though.

Things have changed a bit. I never understood why a "for profit" business should get help from the local/national government.

The best that can happen IMO is the council/government find money/land to improve facilties in Nuneaton generally and Boro can be piggy backed onto that.

The obvious ones are
* Gala Field - but the location being near to the griff may go against it.
* The Pingles - Seems the obvious one to me (and I guess someone not partisan).
* Jubilee - Not sure if any building can take place due to what it was. Also resident opposition. I remember the outcry years ago when my dad lived on Greenmoor Road before the sports hall was built. He had no problem with it. It went ahead with promises of "no alcohol.
