You are on the right lines in that I believe the solution could come from council land leased to a CIC.

It’s my understanding the Gala Field option has now gone elsewhere.

There is a potential site I can think which would be a good location.

There is no way the Nuns will get into partnership with FC again. They will have other decisions to make soon anyway.

I think the important thing will be to walk before we can run. And I hope that the initial back to Nuneaton fund can be used for a feasibility study and business case which will be more influential on those making local decisions.

That won’t include national Government which was why I was annoyed with the MP raising false hopes.

But when the time comes a CIC will be better positioned to get a lease and to attract grant and community funding.

It’s going to be a long way back but I am very heartened by the new Club organisation which couldn’t have been bettered and by the support from fans which has been wonderful.
