On the pitch no point comparing. We are at the lowest point we’ve ever been.
Huge congratulations are due to everybody we even have a Club at all! So this season we are thankful but must go up given the size of our town and support.
Off the pitch it’s chalk and cheese with the Neale era. We have a proper Chairman, proper Secretary, proper Treasurer. Fans on the Board. The accounts are published and the Club transparent and accountable. We’ve also budgeted very sensibly. And we haven’t alienated the Club we groundshare with for no reason whatsoever other than hubris and greed. If ever there was a lesson for treating people on the way up because you will meet them on the way down it was the Neale era.
