That's a very good point MJNB & well made.

For me, the 'new Club' seems to have an identity crisis.

To try to clarify what I mean, I will refer to the Birmingham County FA's approach.

For the 'new Club' to continue as 'the Boro' the FA will expect them to 'earn that right'.

That happened when Ian Neale's incarnation Nuneaton Town were able to revert to being Nuneaton Borough, with the FA's approval.

That took a long time!

The supporters can affectionately refer to the 'new Club' as 'the Boro' but technically it is Nuneaton Town FC CIC & for the present it is very much a 'new Club'.

The acid test for me, will be if the 'new Club' pursues the ambition once again to be called Nuneaton Borough.

Nuneaton Borough is my Club & it still exists, Boro Leisure Ltd's 'strike-off' was suspended on 24th June 2024.

Just my thoughts!
