The new NTFC Stadium pitch will be Capital expenditure.

The Football Foundation may be able to help with a grant towards that cost, through their administration of the Premier League Stadium Fund.

Also, the LED floodlights through the Premier League LED Floodlight Fund.

The eventual replacement of that pitch could be funded by a Retention Fund, I agree.

Bedworth United were able to construct their original pitch following a very generous donation by their Chairman (?) at that time (£250k?) topped up by a grant from Sport England (£65k?), there was an article in the local paper.

The donation was meant as a gesture for the people of Bedworth to provide them with a valuable Community asset.

It looks as though they then set up a Retention Fund to cover the cost of the replacement.
