Some of us understand construction, it’s financing and planning matters - some of us don’t. Town are going nowhere - they have no money and a new ground in Nuneaton is a pipe dream with no money.
It’s a southern prem central club at best and once the older generation have gone there will be few willing to support them. Nuneaton people won’t come out in numbers to watch that level of football. 500 fans is small beer related to the top two divisions of non league.
There are still plenty of old time Boro supporters who won’t let go - that’s up to them and good luck to em. But the days of 3000 fans watching Boro play at the summit of non league are gone unless a big money man comes in.
They’ve declined for the best part of half a century - that should tell us something - there is a team down the road aspiring to the premiership - they have thousands of fans- a proper stadium and it takes 19 minutes to get there.
I always see their shirts worn in Nuneaton - that perhaps tells us something.
