Yes I was around at that time. And once played against Brendan. In a friendly. Terrific player. Great manager. Nice bloke.
The "Don't Panic" was a reference to Corporal Jones in Dads' Army who went to pieces at the slightest kind of setback.
If I was in panic mode then I would not have ever attended the Oval, or bought new merchandise, sponsored the new club or bought a season ticket.
I've seen enough to have faith in the existing structure.
However a few newer fans are upset. Doddsy was too last night . Watch the Vid. You'll love it. he's so grounded.
