To be fair Gregg there have been many successful businessmen running Boro over they years who when the truth was k own didn’t know what day it was.
There are plenty of so called successful businessmen who have made a few bob who you certainly wouldn’t take to your local pub quiz night.
VOR understands construction finance and was a regular Boro supporter and I believe wants the club to be restored. I’ve not watched a single game of the new club after years of support for many reasons.
But we have all had skin in the game regarding past incarnations and I don’t know any current or lapsed Boro/ town supporter who doesn’t want to see it rise and become successful again. After the latest collapse there were always going to be pissed off/ hurt/ angry/ disillusioned people and those who have quickly climbed back on the horse. 1 collapse bad- two unreal bit three economic calamities leaves a bad taste in the mouth for many. I watched most of the JG horror era, some stayed away- suppose that’s how it is.
My decision to stop watching was made as the Rushall team won the playoff - said of had enough on walking out of Liberty way - it became a habit and I decided to break it as I have other interests.
Everyone on here - past or present fans wants it to succeed.
