"Nine Elms, Fratton, Norwich, Doncaster, Derby, Tinsley, both Readings, Banbury, Rugby, Swindon (works and Shed) Crewe Works (permit) Worcester, Tyseley, Oxley, Stafford Road, Ripple Lane, Knottingley, Shirebrook, Skipton, all three Yarmouths and loads more."

I walked over the boarded crossing from Wheat Street with some older mates one evening after Junior School. As I re-call we got as far as the Shed Apron before being ejected. An advantage of being Born & Raised in Nuneaton I suppose.
I have no Affinity to Steam Engines - Diesel & early Electrics all the way. The 1st time I went to Manchester Passenger trains over Woodhead were still Class 76. Saw Tommy after it had been reduced to a pile of Scrap in the Melt Shop at Crewe Works.
Selhurst, Eastleigh, Ipswich, Frodingham, Nottingham, Westhouses, both Leeds, Oxford, Northampton, Gloucester, Saltley, Bescot, Old Oak Common, Barrow Hill, Hammerton Street all three Newcastles and all Scotland.
