Yes - and may it also be prudent to say that some total idiots have run Boro over they years BUT perhaps there was never enough income coming in to actually make the club pay at the level most wanted without a money man.
A small bit of research o did the other week-
In the 14 seasons that Boro/town have played in the alliance premier since 1979- and all its other names- the average league crowd is only just a tad over 1300!
And I believe the average league crowd in the national league now is around 2500 ish. Brito/ town average league gates in the conf north are only around 7-800 since that divisions Inception. These figures are poor when considering g the population of the town.
The question is then does Nuneaton want a top flight non league club?
In the evidence it seems not.
