D423 was the 1st class 50 I saw at Nuneaton (1970's). Came Down from Crewe on a Rootes Car Parts Train bound for Gosford Green. Nuneaton men forward so they didn't sign it. They had their own engine (25 or 47) which relieved the 50 to allow it to return Light Engine to Crewe with the same Driver & Secondman. I wondered at the time if I would ever ride on a Cl50 working a Timetabled passenger Train at Nuneaton & had to wait until 15th May 1988 when 50009 was on the drags. Had it out of Nuneaton & back in again. Cl25's Technically did work the drags as a couple of Summer Saturdays/Sundays saw them Put on/Taken off the Euston to Cambrian Coast Trains but the Electric Loco was Removed/Added at Nuneaton. Hydraulics in my OO Gauge Model Railway collection:-
Hymeks (Hornby) - 50, Warships (Bachmann/Lima) - 30, Westerns (Hornby/Lima) - 30, D63xx (Hornby) - 10.
