actually your incorrect bud
it had a 200 seater, plus a few, main stand
both ends were open humps of black ash
there was cover on the opposite side to th seater
the first floodlights were in all truth very poor.
you entered through the new housing estate to the car park.
opened in 1958 as expressed elsewhere my work colleague played LB. in a 3-0 win ??? memory
ive always believed the fact we were the first visitors. ????
if im wrong no worries its only trivia anyway.

ps to elaborate my workmate played in the city youth team with George Curtis
they progressed to the football combination GC went on and upwards, my friend was released.
