Funny that this, one of the most irritating of all the trappings of "modern football," continues to go unpunished. Perhaps FIFA think that having a bit of Graeco-Roman grappling at every corner and free kick just adds to the manliness of it all. A quick finger wagging is all the guilty players ever get. Ref trots away-off they go again.
It is actually cheating. Grabbing an opponent round the waist and flinging them to the ground is cheating. Whispering behind your hand or taking your shirt off is pretty affected. But it is not cheating.
