The Main Stand needs to be positioned in the West, with its back into the prevailing bad weather in the Winter.

The opposite side of the Stadium in the East can be a modest open terrace with a lower capacity. Anyone standing on that side of the Stadium will have the Sun in their eyes on a Saturday afternoon.

There is only one new Stadium layout presented in FWP's Project appraisal that, IMO, is suitable.

Gala Field is perfect, the Main Stand would be situated in front of the tarmac footpath & the Eastern terrace could be a narrow standing terrace running parallel to the Wem Brook.

The Town & the Griff could groundshare on Gala Field & both Clubs Junior sides could groundshare at the Pingles Stadium.

The Harriers could happily carry one as before, without the responsibility for maintaining Gala Field.

Everyone is a WINNER!

The longer everyone dances around the Maypole at the Town Hall, the more time will be wasted in bringing NTFC 'Back to Nuneaton' & the more money will be spent by Town, not to mention the lost revenue the Club is facing ongoing by playing at the Oval.

I am convinced that a full size 3G pitch will be constructed at Gala Field at some point, that would tie-in nicely with NBBC's Playing Pitches Strategy.

Most importantly, Gala Field does not have the challenging Planning problems that are faced by all of the other suggested sites that have been considered in the past.

A new football Stadium on Gala Field would complete Nuneaton's sporting hub, on a site that is on the Ring Road & is accessible to all residents in Nuneaton, with excellent transport links.

I rest my case!
