Alan Banks who scored the winning goal for Exeter City against Boro in an FA Cup 2nd replay at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate ground in 1967 has died at the age of 87.. The first game played on a snow covered pitch at Manor Park ended 0-0 as did Wednesday night’s replay at Exeter’s St James Park Ground. If I remember correctly the team flew down for this match.
