Tamworth's pitch will be a Quality PRO Performance 3G pitch.

I have asked many times on here whether the new pitch at The Oval is a Quality PRO Performance pitch or whether it is a Quality Standard Performance pitch, without getting an answer!?

A Quality Standard Performance pitch is more suitable for Community use but doesn't meet the required standard for the National leagues.

I suspect the new pitch at The Oval is a Quality Standard Performance pitch, which is only suitable up to Level 7/Step 3.

As an aside, IMO, it makes no sense allowing National Premier clubs to play on 3G pitches, when they have to be ripped up when a Club is promoted to the EFL (eg Harrogate Town & Sutton United).

I am sure they will be outlawed in the National Premier at some stage, those Clubs need to be playing on good quality grass pitches, providing consistency of performance.

The pitch at LW (well maintained) was good enough for the EFL League Two.
