It is a shame. And not a decision taken lightly.

The club have done quite a bit to try and find a solution, including:

- monitored the situation from last season into this season
- spoken directly to groups of young people at two games pre-season when incidents have happened
- issued a warning to young people which was not followed
- consulted with the police and others
- researched what other non league clubs have done in similar circumstances recently (there are quite a few clubs experiencing the same thing and all having to find ways to deal with it), and considered what course of action to take
- deliberated over this for several weeks

They've done this all while preparing for life at Step 4 which comes with a whole host of new responsibilities and requirements, that we are all still learning.

I am sure the club will continue to review the situation, and there have been some useful suggestions that have been made on Facebook and elsewhere which I'm sure will be taken into consideration.
