Yes, 'historical'. Pre-'74.
You've just confirmed what I said.
That link you sent just shows the old counties as they were before the boundary changes after the 1st April 1974.
The current map is completely different lol.
The Metropolitan areas post-'74 are administrative and counties in their own right.
Leicester is a city within Leicestershire and Nottingham a city in Nottinghamshire.
Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire.
